Join Us in Lidl Stores & Local Communities Nationwide 

On Thursday 11th June, Family Carers Ireland will once again bring communities together for Heart of Gold, our national day of fundraising and awareness in support of Ireland’s 500,000+ family carers. 

This year, Heart of Gold will take place in Lidl stores nationwide, thanks to our ongoing charity partnership. With the opportunity to collect at 190 Lidl stores, we’re aiming to increase our coverage and make an even bigger impact. 

Heart of Gold is about more than fundraising. It’s a chance to stand with family carers, spark conversations, raise visibility and show that carers are valued at the heart of every community. Even one hour of volunteering helps us reach more people and share the message that no family carer should have to care alone.

Volunteer With Us & Give the Gift of Time 

We’re inviting volunteers to join us for a short shift at a Lidl store or local collection point. You’ll receive a briefing, materials, a branded tabard/t-shirt and support from your local team. All you need is a friendly smile and a willingness to help.
