Family Carers Ireland, in association with South East Technological University (SETU), are offering a range of level 6 to level 8 accredited courses under the ‘Supporting Family Carers Across Ireland’ project. All courses are fully funded under this initiative. In 2021, SETU was awarded €1 million from the Higher Education Authority (HEA) to create this project in partnership with Family Carers Ireland as part of the Strategy and Performance Dialogue Process. In September 2024, the project was extended for a further 12 months.
This is a great opportunity for family carers to avail of high quality, relevant, third level educational training free of charge.
In order to participate in courses, learners will need to have access to a computer and broadband.
To apply for a place, contact training@familycarers.ie.
