Autumn Research Conference 2022

Family Carers Ireland held our second Autumn Research Conference ‘Partnership in Practice’ online on Wednesday 23rd November 2022.

Preliminary findings and discussions from seven research projects focusing on different aspects of family carers’ lives and the caring experience were presented. Family Carers Ireland partnered on all seven of these innovative research projects. The conference concluded with reflections from Health Research Charities Ireland (HRCI), Public & Patient Involvement Contributors, UCD and the PPI Ignite National Office.

Funders include the Health Research Board, the Irish Research Council’s New Foundation Grants Scheme and the Irish Human Rights & Equality Commission.

The virtual conference brought together over 60 delegates, including a diversity of carers and professionals from a broad range of areas, including health, disability, research and policy both from Ireland and overseas.
