Now more than ever, our colleagues who are balancing family caring and their career need support from their employers, their colleagues and peers as they navigate this new environment.
With 1 in 9 people in Ireland juggling work alongside their *family caring role, it has never been more important to support staff to maintain their work-life balance and develop a sustainable caring routine. Family Carers Ireland (the national charity supporting Ireland’s 355,000+ family carers) believes that no-one should have to care alone which is why we have developed the Caring Employers Programme. Through this programme, we offer companies and the family carers who work for them a range of practical supports and services and part of our goal to support family carers in employment is to ensure they are equipped to turn “Challenges into Opportunities”.
It is tough to deal with uncertainty and change, especially for family carers who continue to be the backbone of our healthcare system during this pandemic.
With a high-impact catalyst, this session will help all family carers (in whatever situations they find themselves in) to act with the courage to turn challenges into opportunities. Mark Pollock is that catalyst and that’s why leaders worldwide have asked him to support their people to remain resilient, adapt to change and collaborate with others for 20 years.
On Wednesday 30 September from 11am-12pm, Mark will host a webinar for Family Carers Ireland to share his insights into how to do just that. Mark is acknowledged by leaders in organisations worldwide as an expert in resilience, innovation and collaboration. The webinar will be co-hosted with experienced broadcaster and coach, Paula Cunniffe.
