Description: Join Linsey McNelis for playful ideas, and questions and answers about Play Therapy and how it can help you in your caring role. Linsey is an accredited Play Therapist with over 15 years experience working with children as an educator and therapist. Linsey spent four years working as an educator with children with special needs, and through her work became interested in the power of play. She started her training as a Play Therapist in 2008 with a passion to help children to work through their problems in a safe environment, becoming more self-aware and developing their self- esteem. Linsey has helped children with wide-ranging issues, including anxiety, aggression, low self-esteem, sibling rivalry, family separation, loss, ASD, ADHD and selective mutism. Linsey has completed further training in Attachment programmes which allow her to work closely with parents to strengthen their relationships with their children.
